My name is Hailey, I'm a High school student in Florida, I started this blog to learn more about website building and to share my ideas to people who actually want to listen.
As mentioned above, this website is for me to learn a new skill, but of course I will be writing posts to learn how this would actually work, I will mostly be writing about my life and opinions for example if the Harry Potter books or the movies are better (Its always books, no questions asked) You will be able to request things for me to write about and I will look at them all. You may request a movie or TV show or you can ask a question about me. If this website does end up going somewhere big, I might do a podcast version, recording myself reading the blog and maybe explaining more. Talking is always better than writing because you are able to show emotion, which is important to me. In my writing, expect to find some shorthand and grammar mistakes, I am not putting my all into it but I will put some effort, as this is the internet and digital footprint goes crazy. How to navigate the page is easy and I've tried to make it as foolproof as possible, using the menu at the top (Or click the 3 dots if on mobile) You can see main categories of the blog, The about tab will take you to a page to read this huge paragraph, the blog tab will take you to an archive of everything I've written for the blog, The request tab will guide you to the bottom of the page, where you can fill out a short form to suggest any topics you might want me to write about. The search and social tabs are easy enough, I have linked my socials to the buttons but if I don't know you in person I probably won't accept a follow request but feel free to try! In summary I hope y'all like reading about my opinions and wont be meanies.
My pick this week is Gracie Abrams album, The secret of Us, this whole album has been on repeat since it came out. Some of my favs are "i knew it, i know you, us. (feat. Taylor Swift) and I love you, i'm sorry. I really love how she did like 'sequel' to i miss you, i'm sorry I think thats really iconic and opens a lot of doors for future songs that all end in i'm sorry and if this grows and she is able to write these songs I can see her doing an album thats just called "I'm Sorry." Anyways side story I asked my uncle if he knew who Gracie Abrams was and he said no, so then i followed up with do you know who JJ Abrams is, JJ Abrams is a movie producer and gracies dad. Basically people say Gracie is a nepo baby even though literally nobody has heard of JJ until Gracie. EXCEPT my uncle, he knew her dad and not her. Anyways thats it, y'all should listen to the album because its actually fire, the sound, her voice, the lyrics. Its actually such a phenomenally put-together piece of art that I truly think is up against Taylor Swift when it comes to the Grammys.
